I get pretty nervous at the idea of stamping directly on a layout, so all the more reason to do it, right? I've been pushing myself to stamp more which means sometimes I just have to embrace imperfection. As much practice stamping as I might do on a separate sheet of paper I can easily, and usually do, mess it up on the real thing.
Which is what happened on my first layout. But I love it nonetheless! In hindsight I would have swapped the two sentiment stamps but it is what it is and I'm rollin' with it :-) I started with a watercolor background, and added a few rub-ons and stamped images then layered on the enamel frames to to ground my pictures.
My second layout was a little less stressful with just one stamped image. I started with a watercolor background, added some modeling paste with a stencil, rub-ons and pencil marks before adding the rest of my layers.
Thanks for looking!
