Hello Fresh lovers! Jenni here today to share my recent projects using lots of Pinkfresh Studio goodies!
Sometimes wood veneer embellishments are a great way to add a bit of color or decoration to a layout.
After seeing these screen printed wood chips with the 'Vacation' theme, I knew I would be using them
to do more than simply embellish! I have been busy documenting loads of photos from our summer trip abroad.
I decided to use these wood chips to 'point' to everything from the title, journaling and even the actual destination!
I punched a little circle of map print to add a bit more emphasis to the round chips and they also inspired the title,
since so much traveling is spent waiting around. I loved this frame stamp from the 'Think Less Live More' stamp set.
Especially since, clearly my kids aren't thinking much in these photos, dreaming maybe!
Supplies: Screen printed wood chips (Vacation & Everyday Sayings), Color block Geo Tags, Ombre Airmail Purple & Teal washi
My next page using another photo from our trip and the coral/gold striped alphas helped me choose the colors.
The canvas pocket gave me the idea to line up tags all the way across the page and used a couple stamps on two of them.
I again used the color block wood veneer arrows to point to the title. I also cut the scribble circle out of glitter cardstock using
the metal die in the Limited Edition kit. It cut beautifully and I tucked it under the photo and some crepe paper.
Supplies: Limited Edition kit, '& Hello' clear stamp, Color block wood veneer (chevron arrows & hearts),
I have been hoarding this transparent card since receiving the Limited Edition kit and knew I needed to
make a simple card with it. I couldn't take anything away from the quote and simply added a piece of
washi and a couple wood veneer hearts to the transparency. The solid black printed circle on these cards
are the perfect place to hide adhesive too!
Finally, I quick card I made for my daughter using the 'Summertime' and 'Think Less Live More' stamp
sets to create a little scene. I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and added a bit of the puffy
scallop borders in the background to separate the grass from the blue sky.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I hope one of my projects inspired you to get fresh with your layouts or cards!
Have an amazing day!
