All That is Gold

Hi everyone! Amanda here with you today to share two layouts I recently created with my fabulous stash of Pinkfresh Studio goodies. I absolutely LOVE the new gold foil printed alphas and the mint has especially won me over! I also find myself reaching for the glitter washi over and over, it is absolutely fabulous and I don't usually find myself using many glitter products.

I recently printed several photos from a big snow storm we had in February and they were calling my name! Here in Portland we don't often see an abundance of snow, maybe an inch or so at a time. It was an exciting time for us this year when we got 9 inches in 3 days and ended up snowed in with nothing to do but play in it and enjoy the beauty surrounding us.

For my first layout I really wanted to focus on mint and gold throughout the layout and repeated the colors in several elements while trying to stay light and airy overall.

For my second layout I went with a punch of color while still pulling in several gold elements. I love the blue and red ombre airmail washi and pulled those colors in to the layout using the enamel polaroid, color blocked veneers, and red tinted modeling paste.

Thanks for looking today!

  1. Amanda, I love these layouts! You are so right, there is nothing lovelier than a bit of gold on a project. And I agree that those gold foil alphas are absolutely gorgeous! :)
